Sennheiser electronic GmbH & Co. KG

German company, founded in 1945 by Fritz Sennheiser. Their specialty are headphones, phone accesories, microphones and professional aviation gear. Sennheiser is one of the most solid audio brands in the world. It has its own laboratories, hires over 2.000 employees and has manufactories in four countries. In 1991 Sennheiser was taken over by an other legendary brand – Neumann.

    Marked with a Labor W logo. Labor W was the name, under which Sennheiser was originally established.  A plastic microphone from the 1950s. Grundig MD 5’s twin brother. Better looking ones are difficult to come by, considering the body colour. An exceptionally thin cable ends in a conventional DIN connector.

    This is our first Sennheiser from the Black Fire series. Its construction is relatively new - from the beginning of 1990s. It is made of plastic but the craftsmanship is quite sturdy. The cable socket is the standard XLR. It may not be the top shelf from this manufacturer, but it sounds interesting and may be useful in the studio.

    One of the legendary products of the German company, whose sound and solid building fascinate producers all over the world. A good dynamic microphone for the studio and the stage. Silver version. Twin brother of Grundig 121, which you can also find on our website. The only difference is the 3PIN DIN cable socket at the back of the case.

    This omnidirectional dynamic microphone designed for recording vocals, acoustic guitar or wind instruments. Often called the "Tom Jones microphone", as it was one of the artist's favourites. Fully metal build, connected via standard DIN socket. The sound is interesting, beautiful "sand". Our piece is in box, case and with measurement document from 13 November 1970.

    One of the first miniature studio microphones in the world. Durable and great-sounding closed structure awaited by the TV sector. The device is wholly made of metal, equipped with a clip and a lanyard. A very long cable ended with a Big Tuchel connector.

    A dynamic microphone made entirely of metal, with high feedback resistance. The first design in which such a solution was used. The successor of the Labor W DM 4 S model. The letter ‘S’ in the name means the version with a switch on the housing. Equipped with a Big Tuchel socket with 5 pins.

    This simple, dynamic microphone is the younger brother of the Sennheiser MD 431 model, which also comes from the recognised Profipower series. It is true that it is missing the switch on the body and the plastic it is made of differs from the type used for MD 431, but the sound is quite good. An XLR connector.

    MD 430 appeared in several versions. Interestingly, our -17T model does not appear in the Sennheiser catalogue. However, the inscription on the original box leaves no doubt. The device was designed for use in rooms with high sound levels (halls, stations, airports), equipped with feedback reduction systems, supercardioid characteristics and a dynamic “Speech” button. All metal. Big Tuchel 5-pin connector.
